I have always lived and worked in the beautiful county of Devon. My family, friends and colleagues describe me as a kind, considerate and empathetic person who is always willing to go the extra mile to help people.
During a lengthy career in the charitable sector, I developed and managed a range of community services, some of which were award-winning and gained national recognition. The services provided support and a helping hand in times of need for older and bereaved people, those living with dementia and their carers.
Through supporting friends to arrange a beautiful funeral service for their courageous daughter, I was inspired to become a professionally qualified funeral celebrant. Having successfully completed the National Qualification – NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Civil Funeral Celebrancy, I am now a fully accredited member of the Institute of Funeral Celebrants.
As someone who passionately believes in the need to create inclusive ‘Dementia Friendly’ services, I have completed additional specialist training to help me support bereaved people who are living with dementia. I will give the extra time, patience and understanding to create a service which helps them to remember their loved one and engage with the ceremony in their own special way.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements. Whether you are in the early stages of planning a service or need immediate assistance, I am here to provide the support you need.
